Andrew Dale Scholarship - Suffern New York

Suffern N.Y. - The Police Officer Andrew Dale Scholarship has awarded over $40,000 in scholarships since it was founded and funded in 2009.

Andrew Dale was a Police Officer that attended Rockland Community College - Suffern NY 

A scholarship was created to award a returning SUNY Rockland Student from the Suffern NY campus aka Rockland Community College that is seeking a career in law enforcement and exhibits outstanding character.

Andrew Dale was in the Bronx, NY and grew up in Ramapo, New York.  He attended the East Ramapo School Distrct and joined the United State Marine Corps.  He attended Rockland Community College and then graduated from Fordham University.  He became a Police Officer and after leaving the force, he went on to create several multi-million dollar companies.

The Andrew Dale Scholarship is a $1,750 scholarship that can be applied for by any returning Rockland Community College student.  



The next largest scholarship is $500 offered by the Rockland County Police Chiefs Association.
